Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 20, 2026

Wyshon AI (“Wyshon”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides AI-powered recruiting and knowledge tools (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, company/organization, authentication details needed to operate your account.
  • Connected services (Google) data: when you connect Google Drive/Docs, we access files and metadata you authorize so we can ingest content for search and generate user-requested outputs.
  • Uploaded content: documents/folders you upload (e.g., local folder upload) and any text you provide in chat prompts.
  • Usage and diagnostics: token usage, API usage metrics, feature usage, and logs needed for security, debugging, and billing.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, including to ingest and index documents, generate AI responses and outputs, maintain security, prevent abuse, and measure usage for billing. We do not sell personal information.

3. Google API Services data

Wyshon’s use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide or improve user-facing features you request.

  • We do not use Google data for advertising.
  • We do not sell Google data.
  • We do not share Google data with third parties except as needed to provide core functionality (for example, infrastructure providers used to run the Service).
  • You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account security settings.

Note: If you grant write permission, Wyshon can create AI-generated output files (e.g., in an “AI-Output” folder). You control access and can revoke it.

4. Data retention

  • Indexed content: extracted text chunks, embeddings, and metadata may be retained to power search and chat until you delete the source or your account.
  • Temporary uploads: local uploaded files may be stored temporarily for ingestion and then deleted after processing (where configured).
  • Logs: security and operational logs are retained for a limited period for reliability and abuse prevention.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and environment isolation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect integrations: you can disconnect Google Drive/Docs and other integrations at any time.
  • Delete data: you can delete sources or request account deletion.
  • Access/correction: you may request access to or correction of your account data.

For California residents, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA. We may use service providers to operate the Service.
